Virtual Instructor-Led Training
The ACSA is pleased to present the return of Basic Instructional Techniques (BIT)!
This engaging two-day virtual instructor led course is designed to give participants an opportunity to apply and practice the foundation of workplace training–communication, planning, instruction, and assessment, all while in a small group setting.
Through a graduated series of skill checks, participants will prepare a learning objective, develop their very own lesson plan (including an assessment), and facilitate an abbreviated training session. There are several activities that require participants to speak or present over the microphone.

Certification

In addition to a skills check component, this course has an open-book online test. Participants must achieve a minimum score of 80% on the test and complete all skill checks for certification.

Prerequisites:

Participants must have access to a computer with stable internet access and a functional headset with a microphone. Participants must be comfortable with using their microphone to communicate in an online meeting setting. It is highly recommended to take this course in a private or semi-private setting (i.e., minimal background noise and interruptions).
