On-Demand Training

Note: this course requires you disable pop-up blockers before launching.

The Construction Safety Training System (CSTS) course is comprised of nine On-Demand online modules designed for the individual worker. The training can be completed at your own pace, and the course takes an estimated two to three hours to complete. CSTS gives a basic overview of various health and safety topics, and students are tested for mastery of the content. This program is a pre-entry requirement for many construction and industry work sites.

The CSTS course qualifies for 0.5 BCRSP Certificate maintenance points. (CPM 10231)

Certification

This course has nine online multiple-choice tests, one after each module. Participants must achieve a minimum score of 80% on each module to obtain the overall CSTS-2020 Fundamentals certification.

Prerequisites

No prerequisite courses are required.

Technology Requirements

This course is compatible with most digital devices with access to the internet. Once you launch the course, it will pop-up in another window which require that you disable pop-up blockers before starting your course. To check if your browser has pop-up blockers enabled, follow these instructions. 

1. Click the initials icon in the top-right corner and select Settings.

2. Click "Is My Browser Supported".

3. Look for the Pop-up Blocker status:

   • If you see a red X, your pop-up blocker is enabled. You will need to disable it in your browser settings to launch courses.

   • If you see a green checkmark, your pop-up blocker is disabled and you should be able to launch courses without any issues.
