Virtual Instructor-Led Training
This interactive one-day Virtual Instructor-Led Training course is designed to equip individuals and employers with strategies for preventing violence and harassment in the workplace and promoting an overall respectful work environment. Through engaging and collaborative activities on our online platform, this course will cover legislative requirements of violence and harassment prevention, share information on what could cause violence in the workplace and how to effectively restore the workplace if an incident of violence or harassment were to occur.

Certification

Participants must achieve a minimum score of 80% on the individual post-course open-book online test (a maximum of two attempts allowed).

Prerequisites

Some concepts built upon within this course are introduced in our 'Communications and Ethics for the Safety Leader' (C&E) course. Though not required, participants may find it valuable to consider completing C&E before completing Violence and Harassment Prevention.

Technology Requirements

Participants are required to have access to a computer with internet access and speakers.  Mobile devices (tablets and cell phones) are discouraged.  These devices may limit the student experience and ability to participate.
