Yard workers and material handlers are an important part of many industries including construction, manufacturing, and wood production. The days can be long and the work itself is often physically demanding. Many types of equipment and vehicles are used to move and transport these goods and materials. This course addresses workplace safety basics such as hazard assessment and worker rights while demonstrating how to work safely and maintain situational awareness in these types of environments and/or near related vehicles and equipment.

This course includes 13 modules. The pass mark varies from module to module. Each module can be taken three times to achieve the pass mark.
