Virtual Instructor-Led Training
This interactive one-day Virtual Instructor-Led Training course is designed to assist safety leaders and managers in developing policies and procedures to deal effectively with alcohol and drug issues at the workplace. Through engaging and collaborative activities on our online platform, this course examines the Alcohol and Drug Guidelines and Work Rules from the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace (Version 6.0). This course also looks at issues surrounding medicinal and recreational use of cannabis, providing multiple resources and templates to help learners implement the learnings into their organization.

Certification

Participants must complete five skill checks during course activities and achieve a minimum score of 80% on the individual post-course open-book online test.

No prerequisite courses are required.

Participants are required to have access to a computer or mobile device with internet access and speakers. Mobile devices (tablets and cell phones) are discouraged. These devices may limit the student experience and ability to participate.
