Virtual Instructor-Led Training
This interactive two-day Virtual Instructor-Led Training course is designed to help participants understand how to be leaders in health and safety on the work site. Through engaging and collaborative activities on our online platform, the course provides participants with tools to integrate into their daily activities to create and promote a healthy and safe working environment, as well as understand their legislated obligations. Course materials are geared toward supervisory positions, yet beneficial to all.

Certification

First Level of the LSE™ Program – Certificate of Completion

Participants must complete five skill checks during course activities and achieve a minimum score of 80% on the individual post-course open-book online test.

Second Level of the LSE™ Program – Certificate of Proficiency

To receive the ACSA LSE™ Certificate of Proficiency, participants must submit copies of the following documents to the ACSA for review as per the LSE™ Proficiency submission requirements:

  • Hazard Assessment
  • Site Inspection
  • Incident Investigation
  • Toolbox Talk/Safety Meeting

Prerequisites

No prerequisite courses are required.

Technology Requirements

Participants are required to have access to a computer with internet access and speakers. Mobile devices (tablets and cell phones) are discouraged. These devices may limit the student experience and ability to participate.
