This under-eight minute, On-Demand online module teaches learners to identify common types of energy and their associated hazards, including methods to lock out energy from systems using "Lock Out Tag Out."

• List Lock Out Tag Out procedures
• Identify single, group, and complex LOTO

Certification

This course has an online multiple-choice test. Participants must achieve a minimum score of 80%.

No prerequisite courses are required.

Technology Requirements

This course is compatible with most digital devices with access to the internet. Once you launch the course, it will pop-up in another window which require that you disable pop-up blockers before starting your course. To check if your browser has pop-up blockers enabled, follow these instructions. 

1. Click the initials icon in the top-right corner and select Settings.

2. Click "Is My Browser Supported".

3. Look for the Pop-up Blocker status:

   • If you see a red X, your pop-up blocker is enabled. You will need to disable it in your browser settings to launch courses.

   • If you see a green checkmark, your pop-up blocker is disabled and you should be able to launch courses without any issues.
