On-Demand Training

This approximately four hour, On-Demand online course is designed to provide the Health and Safety Committee (HSC) members and Health and Safety Representatives (HSR) an understanding of their legislated duties and responsibilities. The course introduces concepts related to HSC/HSR duties, worker rights, and work site party obligations. This course satisfies the required training outlined in current OHS legislation.

Certification

This course has an individual online open-book test. Participants must achieve a minimum score of 80% on the online test for certification.

Prerequisites

No prerequisite courses are required.

Technology Requirements

This course is compatible with most digital devices with access to the internet. Once you launch the course, it will pop-up in another window which require that you disable pop-up blockers before starting your course. To check if your browser has pop-up blockers enabled, follow these instructions. 

1. Click the initials icon in the top-right corner and select Settings.

2. Click "Is My Browser Supported".

3. Look for the Pop-up Blocker status:

   • If you see a red X, your pop-up blocker is enabled. You will need to disable it in your browser settings to launch courses.

   • If you see a green checkmark, your pop-up blocker is disabled and you should be able to launch courses without any issues.
